Regional Sales Manager – North West Region

About Company

UK’s leading distributor of premium quality made-to-measure Window Shutters and Blinds. We are shutter and blind specialists, and have over 18 years’ experience of developing a suite of premium products with our manufacturer partners. Our products are made-to-measure to ensure a perfect fit.

Our products are sold via a wide range of independent specialists and retailers across the UK and Ireland. All our retailers have access to the best blind and shutter product in today’s marketplace and the largest range of shutter variables, including product materials, colours and hardware options.

Key Objectives of Role

  • To develop better working relationship with current partner network and accelerate revenue growth
  • To support and drive recruitment of new partners
  • To accurately forecast the revenue from defined set of partners
  • To support, drive and increase efficiency of external sales team
  • To maintain a happy and motivated partner network
  • Develop positive long term relationships with partners

The Successful Applicant

  • A proven sales professional within the commercial furniture sector who is able to target and acquire new business and undertake key account management responsibilities
  • Proven track record of sales leadership achievements
  • Excellence in building relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Experience of developing sales growth through a variety of channels and partners
  • Be able to demonstrate a very successful track record
  • Proven active account management record with evidence of increasing key account revenues
  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Used to providing a value-added sales approach
  • Comfortable with nationwide travel where necessary
  • Be a great sales coach and mentor
  • Have a solid understanding and experience of working together with other key supporting functional departments including, marketing, customer services, logistics and finance.

Desirable skills and experience

  • Experience of window coverings industry highly desirable
  • Extensive B2B Sales Account Management experience in similar role
  • Commercial awareness business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
  • Hard working, reliable and results driven
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
